Here are our chosen Charities, Non-Profits & Sponsorships for 2016
Amanda Todd Legacy Charity
One of our chosen non-profits for 2016 is the The Amanda Todd Legacy. We are supporting Amanda's Legacy and message by creating a beautiful, modern responsive website for her mother Carol to enable her share her message against cyber bulling and so she can easily update it with speaking engagements, videos, and resources for young teens being bullied.
Amanda’s legacy should be one that teaches awareness and that our society will only succeed via tolerance, compassion, community, and forgiveness. It takes a village to raise a child. We are ALL that village.
Ruben's Shoes Non-Profit Society
At Ruben’s Shoes they collect gently used shoes and give them to people in need. In countries like the Dominican Republic, without shoes kids can’t go to school. We give a pair of shoes a second life which gives people in other countries a chance at a new beginning. Ruben is a real boy who lives in the Dominican Republic. He is 12 years old and is the inspiration behind Ruben’s Shoes.
Coquitlam Firefighters Charity Society
Annually, they fundraise and contribute over $30,000 to various causes, such as, Muscular Dystrophy Canada, the BC Lung Association, the Canadian Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Cross Roads Hospice, to name a few.
Coquitlam Kinsmen International Craft Beer Festival
We are a Partner Sponsor for the Coquitlam Kinsmen International Craft Beer Festival happening here at our very own Town Centre Park in Coquitlam BC Day long weekend.
We were also chosen to design their Logo and new Responsive Website. We had so much fun adding a fullscreen video pouring beer in the background. Check out the video!
