CDAP was developed by the Federal Government of Canada to help eligible small and medium-sized businesses expand online and adopt new digital technology with grants up to $2,400. These funds can be used in countless ways to help you achieve online business growth, from eCommerce platform fees, CRM software, and chat widgets to online booking systems, cyber security and more! You have at least 1 employee (other than the business owner) or had at least $30,000 in annual revenue.
You are a for-profit and consumer-facing business.
Your business is registered or incorporated in Canada.
How can you use your Online Grant?
- To develop a new e-commerce Shopify website or add functionality to your existing site e.g. online reservation/booking tools, online ordering systems & payments.
- To install an e-commerce platform (including subscription fees/costs)
- Costs of social media advertising (Plan cannot be strictly social media advertising, it needs to tie into overall e-commerce implementation plan)
- To track and manage inventory and sales, market to customers, offer discounts, maintain a loyalty program, or increase cyber security using e-commerce software
- Eligible costs must be directly tied to the sale of goods and services online.
